The Lumera lifetime trade in agreement allows our customers to exchange their original purchase for a new diamond, provided the first diamond is returned in its original condition. When Lumera receives a trade-in, the diamond is cleaned, inspected and offered for re-sale at a special price.
The diamond is offered at a lower price because our cost is typically lower, since these diamonds were originally purchased from us some years ago. The diamonds come with their original GIA certificate, and are available loose or placed in a setting.
With the exception of the lower price, these special offer diamonds are treated like any other Lumera diamond purchase, and come with a 30-day return, lifetime trade in privileges, free appraisal, and free FedEx delivery.
